Proposals to the E.L. and Thelma Gaylord Foundation are initiated through our online Grant Request Portal. To be considered, please submit a Letter of Inquiry by January 15th or July 15th.
The Foundation accepts applications from qualified 501(C)3 charitable organizations, with a geographical preference for the greater metropolitan Oklahoma City area. Grants will not be made to individuals. Applications are considered by the Trustees based on the merits of the proposal and subject to the Foundation’s financial position.
The Foundation admits one grant request per year. Letter of Inquiry cut-off dates are January 15 and July 15. Late submissions are not accepted and will be delayed until the following cycle.

Requests for the Spring Grant Cycle may be submitted from November 15 through January 15 at 5:00 p.m. CST. For the Fall Grant Cycle, requests may be submitted May 15 through July 15 at 5:00 p.m. CST.
Spring Cycle
Requests for the Spring Grant Cycle may be submitted from November 15 through January 15 at 5:00 p.m. CST. Final grant decisions will be sent out no later than April 15.
Fall Cycle
Requests for the Fall Grant Cycle may be submitted May 15 through July 15 at 5:00 p.m. CST. Final grant decisions will be sent out no later than October 15.
